 AN  ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to creating an exception
   for  zero  on-site  greenhouse  gas  emissions  in  the  uniform  fire
   prevention and building code

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Subdivision 19 of section  378  of  the  executive  law  is
 amended by adding a new paragraph h to read as follows:
   H.  THE  PROVISIONS  OF  THIS  SUBDIVISION  SHALL  NOT  APPLY  TO  THE
 CONSTRUCTION, REPAIR, ALTERATION, ADDITION,  RELOCATION,  OR  CHANGE  OF
 OCCUPANCY OR USE OF ANY BUILDINGS FOR WHICH A BUILDING PERMIT WAS ISSUED
 PRIOR TO JANUARY FIRST, TWO THOUSAND TWENTY-SEVEN.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
