LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring ADEPT Equipment Services upon the occa-
sion of its designation as the 2011 Entrepreneurial Business of the Year
by the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses which substantially
contribute to the economic vitality of their communities and the entire
Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, it is the sense of this Legislative Body to commend
ADEPT Equipment Services upon the occasion of its designation as the
2011 Entrepreneurial Business of the Year by the Genesee County Chamber
of Commerce, to be celebrated at its 40th Annual Awards Ceremony on
Saturday, April 14, 2012, at the Clarion Hotel in Batavia, New York; and
WHEREAS, Founded in June of 2009 by Tom Steffenilla, ADEPT Equipment
Services provides full-service repair, maintenance, and modifications to
many types of industrial equipment including plastic welders, machining
centers, industrial kilns, test stations and thin film processing
machines; and
WHEREAS, ADEPT Equipment Services has nearly 100 clients throughout
Western New York and other parts of the United States, as well as Cana-
da, Mexico, and other foreign countries; and
WHEREAS, Some of ADEPT Equipment Services' recent projects include
working to convert a machine frame at Amada Tool into a laser etching
machine and complete retrofitting and rebuilding of plastic welding
equipment for such companies as Toyota, Mahle, ITW and Truck-Lite; and
WHEREAS, In addition to Tom Steffenilla, the ADEPT staff includes
Christeen Latona, administration and spare parts; Calvin Wakulchuk,
service engineer and operations; and Mark Hollowell, service engineer;
and
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body acknowl-
edges this exceptional business and its contributions to the local and
State economies, fully confident that it will continue to enjoy the
sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor ADEPT Equipment Services upon the occasion of its designation as
the 2011 Entrepreneurial Business of the Year by the Genesee County
Chamber of Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Tom Steffenilla, President and CEO, ADEPT Equipment Services.
