Ortt Sworn Into Office

Senator Rob Ortt (R – North Tonawanda) was officially sworn into office during a ceremony on the floor of the New York State Senate. The Honorable Jonathan Lippman, Chief Judge of the State of New York, administered the oath. Ortt was flanked by family, friends, and colleagues.
“Today, I accepted the tremendous responsibilities entrusted in me as a representative for the people of Western New York,” said Ortt. “I look forward to serving my constituents and helping create jobs, deliver tax relief, and improve our communities. I’m so thankful to be surrounded by loved ones who were so instrumental in making me who I am and getting me here today.”
