Senator O'Mara joined WHCU Radio's Joe Salzone on the September 9th "Newsmaker" interview to discuss the state mandate enacted by Governor Hochul and the Democrat-led State Legislature requiring local school districts to move to all-electric school bus fleets beginning in 2027. 

Senator O'Mara and many of his legislative colleagues, together with many school leaders across New York, have been raising concerns about the plan's affordability, feasibility, and reliability.
