On Friday, May 21st, Senator Robach provided remarks on 'Complete Streets' legislation (S5711), currently pending in Albany. The press conference took place at the corner of Monroe Avenue and Alexander Street in Rochester. This intersection was found to be the most dangerous intersection in Monroe County as a result of a recent study by AARP.
“In response to many citizens and people on our roadways, they have requested and indicated steps we can take to make our roadways safer for pedestrians and bicyclists,” said Senator Robach. “If we can prevent future accidents, similar to those that we have seen over the past few years in our area, then it’s a benefit to everyone using our streets.”
