On Tuesday, February 8th the Senate passed legislation  (S1433) that protects children by allowing them to testify by closed circuit television if they have witnessed a murder.  I am pleased to have voted yes for this legislation.  Children who have already been traumatized by witnessing a murder should not have to be further traumatized by having to face the accused murderer in court and testify against them.
