On Saturday, March 5, Senator Jack M. Martins, Franklin Thomas and Marvin Lee were at the Hofstra University David S. Mack Center to root on the Elmont Spartans as they took on Baldwin. Elmont came away with the victory to claim the Nassau County Class AA championship. Senator Martins congratulated the team after the game.
