Senator Jack M. Martins visited the Long Island Cares Harry Chapin Food Bank recently.
"Long Island Cares does so much for our communities in providing food to those in need," Senator Martins said. "It represents communities working together to address a need. I thank them for all their efforts."
Long Island Cares provides a broad array of programs including food drives, hunger education, job training, kids cafes, mobile outreach vans, new paths to achievement, school tools, and a food pantry.
