Albany- Continuing his efforts to support individuals with disabilities, State Senator Mike Nozzolio recently met with Michelle Fridley of Canandaigua, who was named Ms. Wheelchair New York for her advocacy on behalf of disabled citizens living independently in their communities. Senator Nozzolio authored a special legislative resolution honoring Michelle for winning the Ms. Wheelchair New York pageant and participating in the national pageant in Michigan. Michelle visited the State Capital with other local representatives of the Center for Disability Rights, of which she is an active member.
