Senator Eric Adams and Community Leaders Request Meeting with Timothy Cardinal Dolan Over Police Practices
Eric Adams
February 28, 2012
NYS Senator Eric Adams and community leaders sent a letter to Timothy Cardinal Dolan to request a meeting with him to solicit his voice around the NYPD stop and frisk practices. The group will also speak with the Cardinal about the police policies of spying on Muslim groups.
The meeting is not without precedent. As a police officer, Senator Adams solicited the help of Cardinal O’Connor to addressed tensions between the communities of color and the NYPD.
