I would like to thank my colleague, Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis, who joined me today in calling on the New York State Legislature to approve S. 6727/A.9353B, which seeks to replicate the City Council’s legislation Statewide that will allow muni-meter receipts to be used as evidence and create a five minute rule to protect motorists from tickets received when parking wherever muni meters are in effect in New York State.
