I am proud to have awarded $250,000 in capital funding to The Guild for Exceptional Children to help them continue to serve more of our most needy. Since 1958, the Guild for Exceptional Children has been an integral part of our community and their work must continue. Bay Ridge is a better place because of the Guild for Exceptional Children. Brooklyn, and New York City alike, are more able to serve our most needy because of the program and services that the Guild has created.
