Westchester County Annual Heritage of India Festival

Senator Stewart-Cousins attended the Annual Heritage of India Festival on Sunday, August 4th at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla, NY. Sponsored by Westchester County Parks, the Indian American Cultural Association of Westchester, Nielsen, Dr. Anil and Anju Joshi, and Friends of Westchester County Parks, the Annual Heritage of India Festival ends the Westchester County's annual series of cultural heritage celebration with "exotic sights, sounds and flavors of distant India", featuring delicious foods of India, live music, folk dancing and cultural performances, and a fashion show showcasing colorful native clothing.
