State Senator John A. DeFrancisco participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Christian Health Services of Syracuse, Inc.  The event was held on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at 3200 Burnet Ave.  The nonprofit center will primarily serve individuals who are covered by Medicaid or Medicare.
