Senator John A. DeFrancisco honored and recognized Nancy Kern Kronen as his 2013 Woman of Distinction during a celebration in Albany on May 7, 2013.  The Senate launched the "Women of Distinction" program in 1998 to recognize the many contributions of women in the State of New York.  These honorees have enriched the lives of those around them, while inspiring others to become active within their communities. Nancy Kronen is the Director of Development and Public Relations for ARISE Child and Family Services in Syracuse.  She previously worked for The Salvation Army of the Syracuse Area.  Throughout her dedicated career and volunteer work, Nancy has demonstrated strong leadership, vision and passion. She continues to fight for fair and just opportunities for all individuals.
