Albany- Senator Nozzolio recently welcomed the students of Port Byron High School’s Civics and Street Law classes and their teacher, Dr. Linda Townsend to the State Capitol. The students visited Albany to participate firsthand in State government and advocate for legislation Senator Nozzolio is sponsoring that would make sweet corn the official New York State Vegetable. The legislation was drafted and sponsored by Senator Nozzolio as part of a school project by students at Dana L. West High School in Port Byron. The students toured the State Capitol and attended a Senate Investigations and Government Operations Committee meeting.Share this Article or Press Release
