RITCHIE RALLIES FOR 2D AMENDMENT

State Senator Patty Ritchie was one of the featured speakers at Saturday's Freedom Rally in Gouverneur where she announced that she has introduced an amendment to the New York State Constitution that would include the right to bear arms. Currently, New York State is one of only six states in the nation that does not include it in its state constitution. The event was emceed by Ogdensburg native and Radio Talk Show Host Melody Burns. Senator Ritchie voted NO on the state's new gun control law out of concerns for sportsmen and protecting the rights of law-abiding gun owners.
