Valesky and Assemblyman Sam Roberts presented Upstate University Hospital trauma surgeon Dr. Fahd Ali with a proclamation on July 24 commending him for his efforts to reduce violence among Syracuse youth. Dr. Ali shows young inmates a graphic presentation on the realities of what happens when a person is shot or stabbed.
