Senator David Valesky joined NYS Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman, Syracuse Mayor Stephanie Miner, and Rep. Dan Maffei to address smartphone theft, which is a problem in Syracuse. They were at Syracuse City Hall on April 11 to announce Maffei’s co-sponsorship of a bill recently proposed in the U.S. House of Representatives that would require a kill switch on smartphones.
