Greenburgh Town Board Interns Recognition
Andrea Stewart-Cousins
August 19, 2015
This evening, the Greenburgh Town Board will recognize the interns who spent time with the town this summer, learning how local government works and initiating important community-minded programs including self-defense workshops. The Senator had an opportunity recently to meet with these young people and couldn't be any prouder. She brought along her two summer interns as well. Internships are a great, free learning opportunity. The Senator urges you to take the initiative and see if the field or area of study you are interestered in, offers internship opportunities. Contact the Senator's District Office in Yonkers at (914) 423-4031 if you're interested in learning more about becoming an intern in her office or at the State Capitol in Albany.
