(Manhattan - June 30th) Senator Stewart-Cousins spoke to the Northeast Women in Public Finance group in Manhattan, along with Congresswoman Kathleen Rice, about the challenges of running for office and the resources available to help women get into politics. The moderator was Beth Smayda with ACA Financial Guaranty, the NEWPF Co-Founder. She is also a Councilwoman in White Plains and one of the Senator's constituents.
