Yesterday, I spoke at a press conference to rally support for the Child Safe Products Act, legislation that would require manufacturers to eliminate the use of chemicals like lead, mercury and arsenic in children’s toys. We need to protect our kids from known carcinogens and it’s imperative that the Senate take up this bill, which has bipartisan support but failed to be brought to the floor for a vote last year.
