Senator Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) had a productive discussion with the New York State Association of Licensed Midwives (NYSALM) today, April 21, in his Albany office. This conversation focused on legislation affecting midwives, access to high quality low cost maternity care, as well as the important role midwives play in the care of infants and mothers.
