Senator Bonacic joined local elected officials, law enforcement personnel, and other dignitaries to honor fallen police officers and their families at the annual Orange County Law Enforcement Memorial Service this past Friday in Goshen. The ceremony is held every year to memorialize Orange County police officers who have heroically given their lives in the line of duty. This year, the name of NY State Trooper Winston Martindale was added to the memorial wall. Martindale passed away in July of 2013 after succumbing to injuries he sustained responding to a plane crash in the Town of Wawayanda in 2011.
