The City of New Rochelle Housing Choice Program (Section 8 Rental Assistance) will be opening its waiting list beginning July 5th at 9:00AM. Prioirty will be given to individuals and families who live in New Rochelle, as well as senior citizens over the age of 62, people with disabilities, and families whose income household is at or below 30% of the median income. Non-residents will be required to rent up within City of New Rochelle limits for the first 12 months. Applicants must either be a citizen or have eligible immigration status.
