(Middletown, NY)-Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) is pleased to announce that he has secured a $50,000 grant for the Town of Neversink, for renovations to the Town Pool. The funding was secured through the State Municipal Grant Program, money for which was included in the 2015-2016 State Budget. The grant will be used specifically for renovations to the bathrooms, changing areas and shower facilities at the Town Pool.
“I’m pleased to have been able to secure this grant for the Town of Neversink, which will make much needed improvements at the Town Pool,” said Senator Bonacic. “These upgrades will ensure that residents will be able to utilize the Town Pool for years to come.”
“I would like to thank Senator Bonacic for helping secure this $50,000 grant for the Town of Neversink,” said Town of Neversink Supervisor Chris Mathews. “I would also like to recognize my predecessor, former Supervisor Mark McCarthy for his role in helping to secure this grant. With this money, our residents will be able to enjoy this town resource for a long time.”
