September 14, 2016
(Middletown, NY)-Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) was pleased to attend and deliver remarks this morning at a ribbon cutting ceremony for the recently renovated Wooster Hall on the campus of SUNY New Paltz. Wooster Hall has been closed since 2011 for the $37 million dollar renovation, $36 million of which was provided by the State of New York. Wooster Hall reopens as a efficient, multi-purpose academic hub that contains a dining area for students, and contains both the Psychology and Anthropology departments. During Senator Bonacic’s remarks he thanked the administration at SUNY New Paltz, led by President Don Christian, for their vision in moving this project along, and he also reaffirmed his commitment to the University as a center for excellence.
