October 31, 2016
(Middletown, NY)- State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) joined local officials and community members this past Friday to celebrate the rehabilitated Silver Lake Dam in the Village of Woodridge. In 1999 the dam was washed out, and as a result, Silver Lake has stayed empty ever since. The cost of rehabilitating the dam was $800,000, and Senator Bonacic was able to secure a $50,000 grant towards the project, which took 17 years to complete.
