(Middletown, NY)- State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) was honored to join local law enforcement officials at the annual Law Enforcement Recognition Dinner, this past Saturday, at the Elks Lodge in Monticello.

The honorees at the evening's event were:

• Meagan Galligan, Chief Assistant District Attorney in Sullivan County
• New York State Trooper Matthew Hinz
• Sullivan County Sheriff’s Detective Cyrus Barnes
• Monticello Police Officer John Riegler
• FallsburgPolice Officer Scott Jordy
• Liberty Police Dispatcher Debra Kline.

The village of Monticello Mayor Doug Solomon (also City of Beacon Police Chief) was honored at the Monticello Elks Citizen of the Year.
