Bronxville, NY - Thanks to the Family Service Society of Yonkers, Family Ties of Westchester, Inc., and the Greyston Community Garden Project for helping Senator Stewart-Cousins facilitate this year's Angel Project. The program matches donors, or "Angels," with grandparents and other kinship caregivers raising children whose parents are unable to care for them.

The Senator is proud of her district. The holidays are a time of giving, and over 50 people gave gifts to struggling families who will always remember that kindness. Special thanks to the Sarah Lawrence College Center for the Urban River at Beczak for hosting, Manor Bagels Cafe for providing food, and Affinity Health Plan for buying it!
