(Albany, NY)- State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) joined his colleagues in the Senate and the Assembly, as well as Highway Superintendents and transportation advocates from across New York State at a press conference yesterday calling on Governor Cuomo and legislative leaders to increase state funding for local roads, bridges, and culverts in the final 2017-2018 State Budget. Wednesday’s press conference coincides with this week’s “Local Roads Matter” advocacy campaign in Albany sponsored by county and town highway superintendents associations.
