(Middletown, NY)- State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) recently presented a ceremonial pen certificate to Minisink Valley School District Superintendent Brian Monahan commemorating the signing into law of legislation that the school district had requested and Senator Bonacic sponsored. The law, Chapter 416 of the Laws of 2016, allows the Minisink Valley School District to maintain a reserve fund for insurance, and make expenditures from that reserve fund for any loss, claim, action or judgment for which such school district is authorized or required to purchase or maintain insurance.
