$1.4 Billion Vital Brooklyn Investment Enters New Phase

Vital Brooklyn represents a pivotal $1.4 billion investment in our community overcoming challenges. Affordable housing, anti-violence efforts, good jobs, healthy communities, and quality education all stand to benefit as our Central Brooklyn family, friends, and neighbors receive the services they need. 

I commend Governor Cuomo for spearheading this initiative and for partnering with our communities to see this path breaking initiative through to success. These investments will allow us to realize the promise of a more affordable Brooklyn, a safer Brooklyn, and a more prosperous Brooklyn for all.
