Summer reading is a lifeline and I am grateful this summer to collaborate with the New York State Library and public libraries statewide, including so many throughout the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes regions, on the “Summer Reading at New York Libraries” initiative.

Senator O'Mara offers his weekly perspective on many of the key challenges and issues facing the Legislature, as well as on legislative actions, local initiatives, state programs and policies, and more. Stop back every Monday for Senator O'Mara's latest column "From the Capitol..."

This week, "Take it page by page this summer"
