On April 9th and 11th, Senator Serrano participated in prayer vigils dedicated to the victims of the tragic roof collapse at the Jet Set Nightclub in the Dominican Republic.
On April 9th, he joined fellow elected officials in Albany, where the Dominican Caucus organized a solemn vigil to honor the lives lost and to extend support to the grieving families. The event took place on the State Capitol's million-dollar staircase. The gathering emphasized the importance of unity and collective healing during such a devastating time, as speakers called for solidarity within the Dominican community and beyond.
