State Budget: Read What Others Are Saying

James L. Seward

March 30, 2009

ALBANY,  03/31/09- Senator James L. Seward (R/I/C- Oneonta) has called the state budget proposal an embarrassment that spends too much, raises taxes and fails to increase jobs.  Seward condemned the secret process that generated the budget bills involving Governor Paterson and his fellow New York City leaders.

Senator Seward is not alone, newspaper editors around the state are also roundly criticizing the budget.
