Sen. Alessandra Biaggi (D-Bronx), chair of the chamber's Ethics Committee, asked Agata if JCOPE is “really capable” of handling sexual harassment complaints.
Biaggi called the commission a “fortress” because “it is hard to understand what is happening inside your walls.” It’s “frustrating,” she said. “Yes, that’s actually a very polite way of putting it,” Agata replied.
