ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Dr. Alice Holloway Young was granted the highest honor from the State Senate. Sen. Samra Brouk awarded Dr. Young the Liberty Medal Friday afternoon at Monroe Community College's Brighton campus. Young has had a profound impact on education in Rochester and Monroe County over 50 years.
