Senator Bill Larkin (R-C, Cornwall-on-Hudson) has secured a $15,000 state grant for the Marlboro Middle School to install a mobile computer lab.
"I am very pleased to have been able to secure this funding which will help the Marlboro Middle School develop this new mobile computer lab," said Senator Larkin. "The ability to bring the lab to the classrooms will give our students at Marlboro Middle School an opportunity to experience even more academic success through the use of the best equipment and technology available."
The mobile computer lab is the concept of the Marlboro Middle School Learning Community, the faculty and Principal Joseph Fraioli and is designed to allow laptop computers to be transported from one classroom to another. It will help the students to build on their research, reading, writing and organizational skills.
