State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8^th Senate District) today announced the start of his annual “Extend The Holidays” toy drive.

“Extend the Holidays” is an annual toy drive Senator Fuschillo organizes for the benefit of children in Winthrop Hospital’s Pediatric Ward. Toys are delivered after the holiday season, so that children can experience the joys of receiving a holiday gift throughout the year.

“With the help and generosity of the community, we are able to put smiles on the faces of many families who are going through tough times. I invite anyone who would like to participate in the ‘Extend the Holidays’ toy drive to contact my office,” said Senator Fuschillo.

Local residents and community organizations are invited to participate in Senator Fuschillo’s “Extend the Holidays” toy drive by making donations of new, unwrapped toys. Anyone who would like to donate toys should call Senator Fuschillo’s office at 516-882-0630.
