Senator Golden to Host Fall Picnic at Shore Road Gardens

Brooklyn- State Senator Marty Golden (R-C, Brooklyn) is announcing his plans to host a Senior Picnic in conjunction with the Shore Road Garden Council, in the Garden at 91st Street and Shore Road, on Thursday, September 24, 2009, beginning at 11:30 a.m. The event will feature live music and lunch will be served.
Senator Marty Golden stated, "The picnic has become a special annual event that is a great way to begin the Fall season. The Shore Road Garden has become one of our community’s greatest treasures, and our seniors have found it to be a great place to relax and enjoy the views of Shore Road. I look forward to seeing many enjoying their lunch, singing and dancing in the company of friends and neighbors.”
Seating is limited and those interested in attending must RSVP to Senator Golden’s office at (718) 238-6044. The rain date for the event is Friday, September 25, 2009.
