Students in Ms. Butler’s kindergarten class at Seaford Harbor Elementary School in Seaford today welcomed New York State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) as a guest reader to their class. 

            Senator Fuschillo read “House Mouse, Senate Mouse” by Peter and Cheryl Barnes to the students. The story allowed the children to learn in a fun way what Senator Fuschillo’s job is and how laws are made. 

            To help the students further understand how new laws are made, Senator Fuschillo offered some ideas to the class and had them vote on whether or not they thought they should become law.
