“I am extremely frustrated that the Governor vetoed legislation I sponsored in the Senate to create the Edwin (Buzz) M. Schwenk Memorial Preserve. Buzz Schwenk’s was a staple of East End politics and truly deserving of praise. The dedication of this preserve would have ensured that Buzz’s legacy long endured the passage of time. I have to believe this was a communication error within the Governor’s administration. I plan to review the reasons for the Governor’s veto and will continue to pursue this initiative. ”
