Senator Golden & Italian Opera Company Host "Broadway to Opera"

Senator Golden (R-C-I, 22nd District) is pleased to announce that the Italian Opera Company’s will present a special production of “Broadway to Opera.” The free event will take place on Monday, August 16th at 6:30 p.m. in Bensonhurst Park at Cropsey Avenue and Bay Parkway.
“The Company provides the opportunity for a new generation to hone their talents and work experience, while also giving back to the community. I think that this will be a great summer event and a great treat to New Yorkers, who are fans of Broadway classics,” Sen. Golden noted.
The Italian Opera Company works with young artists to encourage their participation in productions alongside professional directors, musicians and vocal coaches. Nina Di Gregorio organized the event.
“The Italian Opera Company is producing an event that both fuses popular culture via musical theater, while also exposing audience members to the rich culture of Italian opera. I hope that members of our community come out for this memorable summer event,” he continued.
