Senator Jack M. Martins congratulated the Willets Road School for being named a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. The Willets Road School, which is part of the East Williston School District, was recognized for the honor for working towards ensuring that every child attains success. The Willets Road School is a model of excellence and student achievement.
"I have so proud of the Willets Road School. Hats off to the East Williston Boad of Education, East Williston Superintendent of Schools Dr. Lorna Lewis, Principal Stephen Kimmel, the entire staff and, of course, the parents and students. The Willets Road School is known for its excellence in education and I am grateful that the U.S. Department of Education has recognized it," said Senator Martins.
