Brooklyn – Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) sent a letter to School’s Chancellor Dennis Walcott on the ongoing issue of PS 331/IS 30, specifically addressing the issues of the proposed and then abandoned school laboratory and the inclusion of the current student body of IS 30 in the new location.
Senator Golden, calling on cooperation and compromise with the community and the Department of Education, stated “Our middle school students deserve the best, and by moving them from their current location (a former apartment building) and into a brand new facility, we can accomplish this.”
