Brooklyn - State Senator Marty Golden is making additional comments on the arrest of a suspect in the sexual assault of a Brooklyn teenager:

Senator Golden stated, "We are learning frightening information this afternoon about the suspect arrested this morning in the sexual assault of a young Brooklyn boy that happened last Friday in Brooklyn. Reports are that the suspect was released on early on parole on Friday, December 16th, committed the crime on December 23rd, and now, less than two weeks later, is back in police custody. He had previously been charged with Burglary 3 and a Level 3 Sex Offense. The individual was residing at an unregistered address near both a park and a school while listing his address as the Bellevue Men's Shelter.

The suspect should have never been been released and I call on State Parole Commissioners to keep our criminals in jail. If this individual was not given an early release, this would have never happened."
