Senator Andrew Lanza has opened his district office, located at 3845 Richmond Ave. in Elltingville, to serve as a drop center for food and supplies to be donated to the evacuation centers on Staten Island which are running low on supplies very quickly. Anyone who would like to donate non-perishable food items, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, clothing, blankets, batteries or any other items for those Staten Islanders who have been displaced from their homes, please drop them to Lanza's district office tonight up until 8:00 p.m.
The office will also be open to collect goods from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday this week for those willing and able to donate.
