Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick, pictured right) recently welcomed Kennedy High School Senior Brandon Grabelsky (pictured left) to spend several weeks working in his district office as part of Kennedy’s “Senior Experience” program.

     Kennedy’s “Senior Experience” program is a progressive, hands-on program that allows graduating seniors to work with professionals in a field of their choice. During the course of the program, students learn about the day-to-day responsibilities and challenges in the chosen field, while gaining knowledge of the particular requirements involved.

     During his time in Senator Fuschillo’s office, Brandon assisted Senator Fuschillo and his staff with research, constituent service, and community outreach program. Brandon, who resides in Merrick, will be pursuing a political science degree at the University of Delaware in the fall.

     “Brandon is a mature, intelligent, and hard-working young man who was extremely helpful to my office. We enjoyed working with him and wish him all the best in the future,” said Senator Fuschillo.
