Senator Fuschillo Announces Department of Financial Services to Set Up Help Center in Massapequa Park to Assist Residents Affected by Hurricane Sandy

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) announced that the New York State Department of Financial Services will be setting up a help center in Massapequa Park to assist residents and business owners who were affected by Hurricane Sandy.
Senator Fuschillo and Massapequa Park Mayor James Altadonna have arranged for Department of Financial Services representatives to be at Massapequa Park Village Hall, located at 151 Front Street in Massapequa Park. Representatives will be available from Tuesday, November 13th thru Friday, November 16th between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm.
Residents and business owners who need assistance with storm-related insurance issues will be able to speak individually with a Department of Financial Services representative. The program is open to everyone.
Individuals who are unable to visit Village Hall but need assistance can call the Department of Financial Services’ storm assistance consumer helpline at 1-800-339-1759.
